UCACVA-SS est une union des coopératives agricoles de la chaine valeur anacarde du Sine-Saloum.
Elle regroupe 17 coopérative autonomes. Son siége social se trouve à Passy; département de Foundiougne. UCACVA-SS est devenu union le 4/6/2022 et obtient son récipissé de reconnaissance.
Our Goals
Our goal is to equip members with knowledge and skills on farm management on recommended and post harvest handling practices. To raise awareness of members in marketing strategies and promote collective sales of members RCN in order to address marketing challenges obtain better prices. ample quality production, processing and packaging. To Create linkages among cashew farmers within the district to form farmer associations and cooperatives with view to promote processing of RCN and provide gainful employment for members.
Our Activities
- Marketing services (facilitating group sales of members’ produce: cashew nuts; mangoes; groundnuts; sesame etc….)
- Production services (capacity-building on good agricultural practices for producers; improving and producing quality seeds; and
- Logistical equipment service (facilitating members’ access to quality, high-performance equipment for field work; transport to market production);
- Training services (to provide capacity-building training for members, or to train extension workers).
